Local New Mexico Stocks
There are companies in New Mexico whose stocks are publicly traded on stock exchanges, like the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) or NASDAQ. We don't claim to know all of them, but here's a listing of the ones we do know about:
- First State Bancorporation (FSNM), the holding company for First Community Bank, which has 35 branches in New Mexico and is based in Albuquerque.
- Hewlett-Packard (HPQ), is not headquartered in New Mexico; however, the company has an office in Albuquerque and as of this writing is in the process of building a new facility in Rio Rancho.
- Intel Corporation (INTC) is not headquartered in New Mexico; however, the company is one of the largest employers in Rio Rancho, where it has a facility.
- PNM Resources, Inc., an energy business based in Albuquerque.
